Cedar Ridge Equine offers several dates for horsemanship lesson series for youth of all ages available for beginner to advanced riders. In all of our Horsemanship
Lesson Series, we believe it is important to teach life skill development and personal growth as an intricate component of our horsemanship program. After
conducting several educational studies on life skill development through the use of horses, we found it most effective to teach about responsibility, relationships,
communication, leadership, and team work through horse safety and care; haltering, tying and leading a horse; horse behavior observation and horse anatomy; and
on-the-ground horsemanship. Participants will spend time in the saddle, working on the ground with the horses and will participate in daily take home equine crafts
and journaling activities. We strive to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for all riders and horses. If you do not own a horse, not a problem, we
provide safe, sane, reliable lesson horses.
Join us during spring break for our combined beginner and intermediate horsemanship lesson series! In our half day horsemanship series, participants will spend daily time
in the saddle, on the ground horsemanship and crafting and journaling. Our priority is to provide a safe, fun and educational experience for all of our riders and horses.
Participants with little to no prior horse experience are welcome to attend. All participants will need to pack water/snacks daily. Stable Hand program not available for this session.

In our beginner half day summer lesson series, students will spend daily time in the saddle, on the ground horsemanship and crafting and journaling. Our priority is to provide a safe,
fun and educational experience for all of riders and horses. Riders with little to no prior horse experience are welcome to attend. All participants will need to pack a lunch/snacks daily.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, journal and take home crafts included in tuition. We do have stickers, water bottles, extra shirts, and hats available for purchase for an additional
cost. We are excited to announce that this year we will be offering two sessions per lesson series dates, this gives the participant the option to participate in the morning OR afternoon
session, OR the option for participants to sign up for both morning and afternoon sessions, which means more riding and horsemanship time, if participant signs up for both sessions
different crafts will be able for the second session. Those participating in both sessions will need to make sure to pack a lunch and additional snacks/water for the afternoon.
Unfortunately, offering two sessions of the lesson series means that there is not a Stable Hand Program available in the afternoon. We will have different dates available for those that
would like to sign up for the Stable Hand Program.
"Showdeo" - Event where participants can demonstrate what they worked on during the lesson series for parents. Morning Session Series Showdeo begins at
12:00 PM on 3rd day of lesson series and Afternoon Session Series Showdeo begins at 4:30pm. All participants dismissed after Showdeo, no Stable Hand Program available during sessions.

a safe, fun and educational experience for all of our riders and horses. Participants should have taken at least one, if not multiple sessions of beginner horsemanship series /or multiple
individual lessons in the past and have some prior horse experience (comfortable walking/trotting independently) to attend this session. If you are new to the area and the rider has previous
horse experience please reach out to CRE to discuss previous equine experience and to determine if this would be a good fit. All participants receive a t-shirt with tuition. All sessions
