2023 CRE Competition Events

The following competition events will be held at our Bozeman location during the summer of 2023.
Competitor Information:
All horses must have proof of a current negative coggins test and current vaccinations (including strangles vaccine). Please feel free to reach out to us with questions or
concerns prior to the events listed. All documents may be emailed ahead of time to cedarridgeequines@gmail.com or copies may be brought with you on the day of the competition.
CRE Cowboy Dressage Competition Fun Days
These fun days are scheduled prior to Cowboy Dressage Virtual Shows due dates, with the idea that we can help you get your tests successfully recorded and ready for
submission. We will have a sign up for ride times so you know exactly when to be ready to ride your test, will have both open and challenge courts available, sound system
available for any musical freestyle tests, callers available to read your test and will also video your test/s for you. Hauls in welcome. Please make sure to sign up and
email Amy at cedarridgeequines@gmail.com to let her know what tests you would like to do, time requests and what items you will contribute to potluck. Amy is happy to help
work with you to determine what tests are a good fit for you and your horse as well.
Schedule:
• 1:00pm - Potluck lunch for participants
• 1:00pm-3:00pm - Court will be opening for riders to practice
• 3:00pm - Ride test times will start (we will offer a morning session of ride test times if needed).
Indvidual Test ride sign ups will be available on the group lesson schedule.
Cost:
$25 per day (pay on day of event Cash Only)

CRE Extreme Trail Ranch/Horse Competition Summer Series
Come join us for a fun, family friend event!
This competition is open to all ages of riders that are comfortable at the walk/trot and at a minimum learning to lope/canter. Western tack is recommended for this event.
Students must have access to their own horse/leased horse or access approved by instructor from CRE for use of CRE lesson horse. This is a trail course competition, riders
will be asked to perform a variety of maneuvers and extreme trail obstacles, inside and outside of the arena. There will be several dates where riders may be asked to
maneuver/sort cattle as a portion of the competition. There will be prizes at each event, you may also choose to sign up and compete for end of summer high point awards,
there will be buckles and other awesome prizes awarded in this high point series. If you are interested but not experienced in this type of event and want to learn more/better
prepare you and your horse to compete in this competition,
check our weekly extreme trail/ranch horse class.
Cost:
$25 per competition day (Cash only)
To be eligible for summer end high point awards you must pay one time fee of: $35 for the entire summer

CRE Summer Nights Barrel Racing Series
We will have a weekly summer night barrel racing series. Haul ins are welcome.
Pee Wee, Youth and Open categories. Time onlys available, 1 included in each entry fee, $5 for each after that). Divisional cash payouts for each weekly race.
We will have a summer high point series for those of you that are interested in winning a buckle and other awesome prizes.
Cost:
Entry Fee: CASH ONLY Payable day of competition
Open Entry Fee: $35
Youth Entry Fee: $25
Pee Wee Entry Fee: $15
(Each entry includes 1 time only)
